How credits work

E-signature

10 credits per signed document

Each completed e-signature request uses 10 credits — charged only when the document is fully signed and completed. Documents that expire unsigned cost nothing.

PDF generation

1 credit per PDF

Each PDF generated from a template uses 1 credit, regardless of the number of pages or data fields.

Other PDF operations

0.5 credits per operation

Operations like adding a watermark, merging PDFs, or adding text to an existing PDF use 0.5 credits per API request.

Example with the Plus plan (3,000 credits/month):

Pricing questions

How are credits counted for e-signatures?
Each completed e-signature request uses 10 credits. The 10 credits are charged when the document is signed and completed — not when the signing request is sent. A document that expires unsigned or is voided does not consume credits.
Can I use credits for both e-signatures and PDF generation on the same plan?
Yes. Credits work across all operations on the same plan. You can use your monthly credits for e-signatures, PDF generation, or any mix — the system does not split credits by operation type.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan includes 50 credits per month with no credit card required. You can use these for up to 5 signed documents (10 credits each) or up to 50 generated PDFs (1 credit each), or any mix.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. If you consistently run out before the end of the month, upgrading to the next plan is more cost effective than purchasing add-on credits.
Is PDF generation included, or is it a separate product?
PDF generation is built into the same platform and the same credit system. There is no separate subscription for PDF generation. A signed document workflow — generate the PDF from a template, send for signature, receive completed document — uses 10 credits for the e-signature and 1 credit for the PDF, totaling 11 credits per document.
Can I cancel my plan at any time?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month and can be cancelled at any time. Annual plans are available for up to 17% savings.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No. There is no annual contract, no seat minimum, and no minimum monthly spend. The free plan has no time limit.
What happens if I run out of credits mid-month?
You can purchase additional credits or upgrade your plan. Document generation and signing will be paused until credits are added — no documents are lost or corrupted.
