Connect your trigger app

Add a CraftMyPDF action

Add a CraftMyPDF action step to generate a PDF from your template with dynamic data from the trigger. Enable e-signature on the template to send it for signing in the same step.

Handle the signed document

Add a final action to handle the completed document — store it in Google Drive, update a CRM record, send a Slack notification, or email the signed PDF to the relevant party.

Common questions

Does e-signature work through Zapier, or only via direct API?
E-signature works through Zapier exactly as it does via the REST API. Because signing runs through the same CraftMyPDF endpoint as PDF generation, any Zap that generates a document can also trigger a signing request — no additional connector needed.
How do I know when a document has been signed?
eSignature API sends a webhook when the document is completed. You can catch this webhook in Zapier using a Zapier webhook trigger and use it to kick off a second Zap — update a record, notify your team, or archive the signed PDF.
