How Much Does an eSignature API Cost?
eSignature API uses credit-based pricing. Each completed signed document costs 10 credits. Credits are only consumed when a document is fully signed and completed — documents that expire unsigned, are voided, or are declined cost nothing.

How credits work across operations
The same credit pool covers all platform operations:
- 1 e-signature request = 10 credits (charged on completion)
- 1 PDF generated from template = 1 credit
- Other PDF operations (watermark, merge, etc.) = 0.5 credits per request
This means credits can be used across any mix of e-signatures and PDF generation on the same plan.
What’s included on every plan
All plans include PDF generation, all signing methods, all five recipient roles, ten field types, webhooks, REST API access, and ESIGN Act, UETA, eIDAS (SES), SOC 2 Type II, and HIPAA compliant infrastructure — no feature gating by plan level.
How this compares to per-envelope pricing
Most competitors charge per envelope or per signature request sent, regardless of whether the document is ever signed. eSignature API charges only on completion. At 100 documents per month with a 20% non-completion rate, you pay for 80 completed documents — not 100 sent.
